Exclusive Opportunity at the Caribbean Music Awards
This year, the Caribbean Music Awards offers an exclusive opportunity for up-and-coming talent to showcase their abilities on CMA’s stage in New York, hosted by the legendary Wyclef Jean. This competition is open to musicians of all genres, dancers, influencers or digital creators, and actors for a chance to become a Caribbean Music Award presenter and red-carpet correspondent! The contest winner will walk away with $2,500 in cash and a chance of a lifetime! The Caribbean Music Awards Show will be held on Labor Day Weekend – August 29th, 2024 at the Kings Theatre Brooklyn, NYC.
Voting Breakdown
Voting begins July 8 and ends August 26. Here’s the breakdown:
- Round 1: Ends July 15 @ 4 PM EST – Top 15 move to the next round
- Round 2: Ends July 22 @ 4 PM EST – Top 10 move to the next round
- Round 3: Ends July 29 @ 4 PM EST – Top 5 move to the next round
- Round 4
- Group Finalists
- Semi-Finals
- Final Round

Fan votes determine who makes it to the final Judging Round. There, each judge will have a fixed number of votes to distribute to the finalists as they see fit. The contestant who collects the most votes in the final Judging Round wins the CMA 2024 THE NEXT BIG STAR contest.
Prizes
- One musician/dancer will become one of CMA’s award presenters and receive $2,500 in cash.
- One influencer/digital creator/actor will become one of CMA’s award presenters and receive $2,500 in cash.

Participation Supports Music Brings Life
Music Brings Life Inc. (MBL) is a New York State charitable organization that delivers blood awareness presentations in NYC high schools followed by blood drives. MBL inspires and educates Black, Latino, Caribbean, and immigrant student communities about the importance of donating blood by using music and entertainment to capture the imaginations of our young citizens.
